Vinification:
Hand-harvested grapes undergo triple sorting—twice in the vineyard and once at the winery. 100% destemmed, followed by traditional fermentation for 25–30 days in temperature-controlled vats. Pneumatic pressing ensures gentle extraction. Malolactic fermentation occurs systematically to enhance suppleness and texture.
Maturation:
Aged for 10 months in vats, followed by approximately 7 months in 30 hl French oak foudres. Bottled at 15–16 months and released at 18 months to preserve freshness and youthful expression.
Tasting Note:
Télégramme is a vivid and approachable expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, shaped by its Grenache-dominant blend and thoughtful élevage. Bursting with aromas of crushed raspberries, red cherries, and wild herbs, the bouquet is immediately inviting, backed by delicate notes of licorice and spice. The palate is round and silky, yet holds remarkable freshness, offering generous red fruit layered with hints of garrigue and pepper. The supple tannins and moderate structure make this wine charmingly drinkable in its youth, while still echoing the pedigree of its celebrated terroir.
Serving Temperature: 17°C
Ageing Potential: Best enjoyed within 5–8 years
Food Pairing:
Pairs effortlessly with grilled lamb, Provençal dishes, herb-roasted poultry, or vegetable tian. A superb red for rich Mediterranean cuisine and casual fine dining alike.
