Picardy Pinot Noir 2021 from Pemberton, WA.
Cooled by the breeze streaming in off the great Southern Ocean. Established by Bill and Sandra Pannell in 1993, 24 years after founding the equally iconic Moss Wood estate in Margaret River. Aged in old oak.
Classic Pinot nose with black cherry and earth, cola, and freshly smooshed cranberries, while the palate is genteel, at the full end of medium-bodied, finely structured, balanced, and very good drinking.
Natural cork. 13.5% ABV. Drink now to 2027.
