Description
Light colour density, slight haze and tawniness but outrageous aromatic expression, lifted, open, evolved and highly complex with strawberry jam fruit, pulpy and earthy, cream and wood, curry powder, leather. The palate is very fine, graceful, slight chewiness, juiciness, sappy and long. A Pinot of serious stature, worldly in its conception and very neat in the execution. Top! Screw cap. 13%. Drink now to 2028. Made by winemaker Will Rikard-Bell, the man who survived the notorious explosion at the Tulloch winery in the Hunter Valley.
